About Cafetalk Students

Having its origins in Japan, Cafetalk’s students are largely comprised of Japanese users. But in recent years the number of Asian, European and American students looking to study Asian languages have increased as well.

A substantial portion of our student base is in their 30s and 40s for both men and women. However there are also a growing number of young children as well as senior students’s who take lessons on Cafetalk.

Due to the large number of Japanese students English seems to be the predominant choice, but European languages such as French and Italian are also on the rise.
