Is it possible to add a new category?
The categories are tied to various functions on Cafetalk and cannot be added any time. We are sorry about that.
Is it possible to add a new tag?
The same as with categories, tags are tied to various functions on Cafetalk and cannot be easily added any time. We apologize.
Are there any categories that will disappear as a result of the renewal?
No categories will be deleted. Some categories will be merged or split, so please check the help page for more information and in order to assign the most appropriate category.
Can you make it possible to choose more than 5 tags?
You can choose up to five tags. We have no plans to change them for now. We hope you will consider applying the most appropriate tags in order to help students narrow down their lessons.
Can we copy the tag settings so that we have the same tags for all lessons?
We apologize, but we do not have a copy function for tags. Please choose the most appropriate tags for each lesson to make it easier for students to find your lessons.
What happends if I don't set up the tags?
You will need to select and save at least one tag on the Create/Edit Lesson page.
How will the new lesson search page be designed?
We are currently working on it. An announcement will be made as soon as it is ready.
Do you have a list of all the categories, tags?
Yes, a list of tags and categories, as well as details about the renewal, is available in PDF format on the help page. Tags are also listed on the Create/Edit Lesson page in the settings section.
Why are you changing to a new system?
We have decided to renew the site to improve the search speed, to narrow accuracy and to allow more students in search of lessons to find them easier by using tags instead of categories. If you have any questions, please contact us anytime in the chat box at the bottom right of the website.
Can I search for tags in the tag settings field?
We are sorry, but it is not possible to search for tags, so you will have to scroll through the list to find the appropriate tags.
When will the new search page be launched?
The renewal is scheduled for early 2023. As soon as a decision is made, it will be announced on the website and in the newsletter.
If I change from an existing category/sub-category to a new category/tag, what happens to the previous reviews?
Before the 2023 renewal, they will be displayed as they currently are. After the renewal, they will be displayed in the new categories.
When will students be informed about the renewal?
Once the date and time for the renewal of the search page has been confirmed, an announcement will be made on the website and through the newsletter.
If you have any further questions, please contact us anytime via the chat box at the bottom right of the website.
