Renewal of the lesson category system
The Cafetalk lesson category search page will be updated to a new version in the beginning of 2023.
What changes?
The "Sub category" which was only available under the "Language" category will be removed completely and there will be a new option which allows you to choose/set up a "Tag" under all categories.
How does that work?
This makes targeting easier, as tutors can create lessons with a more narrow focus on the target audience they want to take their lesson. This update will help improving the search speed and it will make it easier for the students to find the lesson they are looking for.
Prior to the renewal of the lesson search page, the settings screen from the Create/Edit Lesson page on the tutor side will switch to the beta version. (as of Nov.2022)
About the beta version
In addition to the existing category setting section, a new category & tag setting section will appear.
On the new category & tag setting section you will be able to choose and save up to 5 tags suitable for your lesson.
The new settings will be applied after the renewal of the lesson search page in early 2023. Until then the search conditions will remain the same.
All tutors will be notified as soon as the renewal date has been decided.
For know, the renewal is planned for early 2023 (around February).
