What are seminars and how can I do one?
What are seminars?
Usually Cafetalk lessons are one-on-one lessons conducted directly via Skype or Zoom.
Seminars on the other hand are topic-based events that many students can participate in. There are usually two type of seminars: Open seminars and closed seminars.
Closed seminars are usually conducted on Zoom and have a limited amount of participants. Depending on the topic and concept students may be required to turn on their camera, or it may be optional.
Open seminars are conducted as video presentations, where the students are not in the same call with the tutor but can participate via a live chat. Open seminars can also be recorded and the recording can be made available for purchase after the initial live event.
In the past Cafetalk has organized many seminars together with tutors of categories such as languages, music, workout, hobby (organization, cooking) and much more.
