Searching For Lessons
1.Search Lessons
There are four main ways to search for lessons on Cafetalk.
- Search Lessons：Narrow down your search by lesson category, criteria, or tags
- Search Tutors：Narrow down your search for tutors by lesson category, criteria, or tags
- Search by Time：Narrow down your search to find tutors you can book, based on your desired date and time + category + other criteria
- Search by Feedback：Search for feedback posted by students who have taken lessons, filtering by category, tags, and language of the feedback.

Lesson Category Search
In the lesson search, you can search by category, tags that allow you to specify the characteristics of the lesson, languages the tutor can speak, and keywords.
You can also use the "Filter" button to narrow your search by lesson price range, the tutor's country of origin, country of residence, lesson options (covered by 100% satisfaction guarantee, trial available, lesson packages), the tutor's gender, new student acceptance settings, and qualifications.
A keyword search will appear in the search results if the exact match is found in the tutor's profile or lesson page. We recommend that you try to keep your search as short as possible, as the search results will vary depending on the words used in the search. Example: "Eiken" will give more search results than "Eiken preparation lesson"
"Tags" which have been on the search page since May 2023, are set by the tutors themselves to indicate the main characteristics of the lessons. You can search by tags alone without selecting a category. For example, if you are looking for a new hobby without a category in mind, you can use tags such as "for moms" or "for seniors" to search for lessons ranging from language, fitness, to hobbies.
2.Search Tutors
In the tutor search, you can search by category, tags that allow you to specify the characteristics of the lessons offered by the tutor, the languages the tutor speaks, and keywords.
You can also use the "Filter" button to narrow your search by lesson price range, the tutor's country of origin, country of residence, lesson options (covered by 100% satisfaction guarantee, trial available, lesson packages), the tutor's gender, new student acceptance settings, and qualifications.
The search for tutors is no different from the lesson search.
However, there is the advantage of being able to see all of the tutor's profile information and regular available hours in one place in the list of search results.
3.Search by Time
Specify the date and time you want to take a lesson, and the search will display tutors who have available time then.
Dates and times can be specified from 12 hours ahead. This is recommended for those who want to make the most of their free time and have a set time to learn.
When searching, you can specify the category, the languages the tutor speaks, the maximum lesson fee, and the tutor's country of origin.
4.Search by Feedback
Feedback is voluntarily submitted within 7 days of the completion of the lesson and listed in order of newest feedback or by order of the lessons requested.
You can filter by category, review tags, and review language.
It is fun to find lessons through word of mouth from students who have actually taken them!
