Getting ready for lessons with Skype/Zoom
Microsoft’s telecommunication service Skype will end its service on May 5th, 2025.
In addition to Zoom, which is currently in use on Cafetalk, Google Meet will also be officially recognized as Cafetalk’s meeting application (the software used to hold the lesson) as of April 2025.

For Skype users
A few minutes before the lesson start time, please click the "Start Skype Chat" button on the Cafetalk request page. The Skype application will open.
You can also send messages to the tutor before your lesson starts.
The student should wait until the start time. When the time comes, the tutor will start the call.
For Zoom users
A few minutes before the lesson is about to start, click on the "Start Zoom" button on the Cafetalk request page and the Zoom meeting will start.
