What is Skype?
Microsoft’s telecommunication service Skype will end its service on May 5th, 2025.
In addition to Zoom, which is currently in use on Cafetalk, Google Meet will also be officially recognized as Cafetalk’s meeting application (the software used to hold the lesson) as of April 2025.

What is Skype?
Cafetalk recommends the online video calling service Skype, which will allow you to take your lessons from home.
Skype is a free online video calling service that has been used by over 560 million people all over the world. The excellent sound quality is what sets it apart from other free internet messenger sites, such as MSN and Yahoo Messenger. If you have a web camera, you can use Skype's free internet telephone service to make high quality video calls.

In order to use Skype's telephone service, you will need a computer (tablets and smartphones work too) and a broadband internet connection.
